An entity can be used to store information to be used later in the conversation, in Flows, or to pass to Integrations that reference external services.

Create a Custom Entity

From the Entities page, click Create Entity

Select Custom entity type in the sidebar.

Enter in the sidebar -

• Entity Name

  Name the entity. All entity names must be unique within the project.

• Training materials checkbox

  Leave unchecked.

Click Create Entity in the sidebar

Choose to either Add a Text Value or to Add a Pattern Value

Custom Entities created elsewhere in the tool

Custom Entities can also be created elsewhere in the platform from a Search & Create field. Entities created this way will not yet have text or pattern values, and these need to be added later - see Entity Text Values and Entity Pattern Values.
