Settings enable you to get under the hood of your Assistant and configure elements such as what responses are provided when multiple choice options are presented, spelling and feedback. Let's get started
These responses exhibit a high-confidence match to the user's question, often in the form of multiple-choice answers starting with "I am confident…"
To change the message displayed to users for Short Tail responses:
Select the 'Short Tail' card.
Then click on the 'Multiple Short Tail Introduction' line item under the Custom Replies Table.
Edit the content
Select 'Save Replies'
Select 'Save Extension'
These responses show a slightly lower confidence level, presenting multiple options that the Assistant thinks might be correct. These are often shown in the form of multiple-choice answers starting with "I am not confident..."
To change the message displayed to users for Long Tail responses:
Select the 'Long Tail' card.
Then click on the 'Long Tail Introduction' line item under the Custom Replies Table.
Edit the content
Select 'Save Replies'
Select 'Save Extension'
Feedback is displayed to a user after every response provided as part of a Q&A. Studio comes with a pre-configured response for this, however you can edit the response to suit your needs.
To change the Feedback response:
Select the 'Feedback' card.
The click on the 'Feedback' line item under the Custom Replies table
Edit the content
Select 'Save Replies'
Select 'Save Extension'
The spelling module in Studio, enables you to cater for a wider nuance of customer language. Whether that is industry specific acronyms or abbreviations.
Please, note Studio utilises IBM Watson’s spelling capability, so will automatically handle and correct most inputs prior to providing a response.
To add new spellings to your Assistant, click on the Enhance Features menu item and then the Spelling card. Select ‘Create Term’ and then enter the spelling details you wish to include. Once you have finished, ensure to click on ‘Save Term’ in the Create Term right hand module and ‘Save Extension’ on the main spellings page.
